All ICE-WATCH products are covered by a 2-year local warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The guarantee takes effect on the delivery date of the item, justified by the accompanying document, i.e. the guarantee coupon, duly completed with date of purchase, watch reference and store stamp, located in the ICE-WATCH box or case, which we ask you to keep carefully. 

This warranty covers all parts except the battery, bracelet and glass. We are not liable for damage caused by the possession or use of the watch, damage due to improper maintenance, non-compliance with the operating instructions or normal wear and tear. 

In the event of failure of the watch due to a material or manufacturing defect, please return the watch to ICE-WATCH Genève with the completed warranty coupon (date of purchase, watch reference and store stamp). This limited warranty is void if the defect is due to improper or inappropriate use of the watch.

Note : an ICE-WATCH watch, repaired or replaced under warranty, will benefit from the remainder of the warranty period, calculated from the original purchase date of the watch; whether your watch is repaired or replaced, the warranty period is not extended.

Any watch from the Flagship ICE-WATCH Genève may be exchanged for another watch of different size, colour and model, provided that it is in its original packaging and accompanied by the duly completed guarantee. Refunds are excluded. 

There is no time limit for exchange if the purchase is made at the Flagship ICE-WATCH in Geneva.

On the other hand, for any purchase on the online shop the return is 14 days after receipt of the goods.

The exchange can only take place once.

In-Store, gift voucher :

It may happen that, during the exchange, you do not find the desired watch or that it is not available; in this case, ICE-WATCH Genève will issue a gift voucher in exchange for the watch and of equivalent value.

You would like to offer an ICE-WATCH watch but you are afraid of getting the wrong model: make your purchase without worry since an exchange is always possible; otherwise, choose a gift voucher for the amount of your choice.

AMOLED, for "Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode", refers to screens that use an active matrix (allowing each pixel to be controlled independently of the others) and OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology.

AMOLED screens consume much less energy than LCD screens; they control each pixel, which means they are only switched on when they need to be, reducing energy consumption and freeing up your battery for more important tasks.

The IP (protection index) is an international standard set up by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It is made up of 2 numbers and tells the user how waterproof the device is.

1st number : protection against solids 

2nd number : protection against water intrusion

IP 68 = totally dust-tight and protected against immersion according to the manufacturer's specifications.

"ATM" is the abbreviation for "normal atmosphere". It is a pressure unit that indicates the tightness of a watch. 

The BAR (bar symbol) is a unit of measurement for fluid pressure. This unit has the advantage of being close to the atmosphere (average atmospheric pressure at the sea surface). 

Physical data: 1 BAR = 0.986923 ATM --> 10 BAR = 10 ATM = 100 m

In practice, a watch bearing the 3 ATM mention is "water resistant 30 m", which means that it is water resistant, but it is not possible to swim with it, the pressure exerted during swimming being higher than that which can be supported by the case. This activity is permitted with a 10 ATM watch (water resistant 100 m); diving is only possible from 20 ATM.

• Water resistant 3 ATM: hand washing 
• Water resistant 5 ATM: bath or shower 
• Water resistant 10 ATM: sports swimming / water sports
• Water resistant 20 ATM/30 ATM : snorkeling

ICE-WATCH watches are not suitable for diving sports.

The bezel of the diver's watches is used to indicate the immersion time. Simply turn the bezel to adjust the zero number on the minute hand at the time of immersion to know, as you dive, the number of minutes elapsed underwater and therefore estimate the oxygen remaining in your cylinders.

The bezel is generally unidirectional to limit errors due to unintentional handling of the bezel during diving.

Before going into the water, check that the crown and push-pieces on your watch are properly closed; screw the crown back on tightly if it is equipped with a screw crown. Do not handle them while in water.

Thermal shocks or large temperature variations can accelerate the normal aging of the seals that provide the seal. Water condensation under the watch glass or on the dial indicates that the watch is no longer waterproof. Water infiltration or humidity can cause significant damage or anomalies.

Avoid any contact with water and give your watch to a professional as soon as possible for repair.

To use your ICE-WATCH stopwatch correctly, set it, choose the starting position, reset it (if, for example, the stopwatch hand does not return to its starting position after the button is activated), consult the operating instructions here

The silicone strap can be gently cleaned with a used toothbrush, water and a little soap. Regularly maintained, the strap of your ICE-WATCH watch will retain its brilliance and colour.

The strap of your ICE-WATCH watch is damaged, worn or broken. You have the possibility to replace it.

Take your watch with you (to allow you to take note of the size and colour of the strap required) and contact your ICE-WATCH point of sale, which will provide you with the strap for your watch. If it is not available, it will be ordered. You will be notified as soon as it is received in the store.

The loop on your ICE-WATCH watch is damaged or you have lost it. You have the possibility to replace it.

Take your watch with you (to allow you to measure the size and colour of the required loop) and contact your ICE-WATCH point of sale, which will provide you with the loop corresponding to the strap of your watch. If it is not available, it will be ordered. You will be notified as soon as it is received in the store.

The mineral glass of your ICE-WATCH watch has been accidentally damaged, cracked or broken by an unfortunate impact or fall. We are sorry about that. Fortunately, the glass can be replaced without further replacement. 

To do this, please go to the nearest ICE-WATCH point of sale, which will ship your watch to the factory for replacement of broken glass.

Salt water, acidity of perspiration, perfume and chemicals attack the joints and reduce the duration of the seal. That is why we recommend that you have all the elements that contribute to waterproofing examined regularly to ensure that they are intact and in good condition: the crown, pushers, glass, seals.

After-sales service (such as changing batteries, bracelets, bystanders, replacing broken glass, etc.) is provided at all ICE-WATCH brand outlets. Consult the ICE-WATCH store location page to find the store closest to your home.
